Whilst every lawn has different needs, the cost of the organic approach is usually comparable to a chemically treated lawn and we will endeavour to match the cost of your current service.

I have seen fertilisers that claim to be organic before.What is different about yours?
Almost all organic fertilisers on the market are either organic based or are made of animal waste.All our fertilisers are plant based and are certified organic.

I have never used a lawn care company. Would it not be cheaper to buy the product from a garden centre or DIY shop and achieve the same results?
In many cases, using a lawn treatment company will be cheaper, especially once you include the cost of purchasing equipment to carry out the treatments. Hand spreading of DIY products is not only wasteful but unless applied properly it will cause scorching and kill the grass.

Do I have to buy a package from Lawns Alive or can I just buy individual treatments?
You can buy treatments individually or as part of a package. Some customers use our treatments to supplement their own lawn maintenance.

Do I need to mow the lawn before you arrive?
If you could mow the lawn a few days before it helps the products we use to reach the soil quicker.

Can I mow the lawn after you have been?
If we have applied a fertiliser we ask you not to mow your lawn for 7 days and that your lawn has had a good watering before you do mow. This helps the fertilisers and conditioners to breakdown and reach the soil layer.

Do I need to be in when you do the treatment?
No, as long as access is available to all lawns we can carry out the treatment. Please remember to leave the gate open though!

How quickly will I see results?
Well it depends on your lawn and what is being treated. Dependent on the time of year and the climatic conditions you should see results within 10 to 14 days.

What happens if I get specific problems occurring during the course of treatments?
Just call us and we will come around to identify the problem and advise on a course of action.

Will the lawn care treatments get more expensive each year?
Actually, because we are treating the soil and working to get it to be largely self sufficient, the treatment requirements may reduce.

Do I have to sign a contract?
No, there is no tie in. We let our results speak for themselves and let you decide whether you want to continue.

How can I pay for the treatments?
You can pay by credit card or debit card once we have completed the treatment .We do offer generous discounts for customers who wish to pay in advance.
